ORDENONE® DEODORIZER CONCENTRATE
GENERAL USE GUIDELINES for Commercial and Household Products

We are providing the following general guidelines to help with formulating with ORDENONE in institutional and household cleaning products. These guidelines are intended as STARTING POINTS ONLY. Consideration of dilution ratios or "ready-to-use" account for some of the larger ranges we have recommended. We suggest that you evaluate your individual product and desired results to obtain the level of ORDENONE that is most effective and economical for you. We have grouped similar product types into major categories. Please find the product in which you are interested and the recommended range for this category. From this point you can increase or decrease the level of ORDENONE to meet your needs.
 
 
HARD SURFACE CLEANERS – LIQUIDS (0.05% - 1.00%)

Bathroom & bowl cleaners, tile cleaners, dust cloth/mop treatments, all-purpose cleaners, wet mop solutions, fiberglass cleaners, vinyl cleaners, etc. Note: do not mix ORDENONE with hypochlorite bleach. Refer to material safety data sheet.
 
 
DEODORIZING PRODUCTS (0.20% - 4.00%)

Air fresheners, absorbents, deodorant blocks, drain/trap treatments, garbage receptacle storage area treatments, odor control products for bed pans, incontinent care, pet odors, vomit, urinal & commode treatments, smoke & fire restoration products, including fogging equipment

 

AEROSOLS (0.10% - 1.00%)

Air fresheners, disinfectants, deodorizers, textile deodorizers, including drapes, carpets, furniture, autos, etc. Note: Please refer to the material safety data sheet for precautions against formation of excessive pressure and corrosion in aerosol cans. We recommend extensive testing when formulating ORDENONE into aerosols.

TEXTILE CLEANING PRODUCTS (0.20% - 2.00%)

Fabric softeners, detergents, spot cleaners, upholstery shampoos, specialty products for nursing homes & hospitals, carpet cleaning products, locker room/health club products.
 

SOAPS (0.10% - 2.00%)

Dishwashing soaps, hand cleaners, lotion soaps, bar soaps, concentrated liquids.
 

MISC. PRODUCTS/PROCESSES (0.05% - 2.0%)

Rendering, industrial processing, food processing, portable toilets/holding tanks for RV’S, buses, airplanes, etc., paper processing and products, water & waste treatment, etc.)

GENERAL USE GUIDELINES for Personal Care Products


These following recommendations for personal care (and pet care) product categories are also provided as a range of effectiveness, based on our experience and feedback from customers. Our water-based Ordenone has been thoroughly tested for safety for both leave-on and rinse-off products. Please refer to the toxicity and regulatory sections of this CD for further information regarding safety information.

DEODORANTS, AEROSOL AND PUMP SPRAYS (0.05% - 1.00%)

Stick deodorant, roll-ons, feminine hygiene sprays, body deo sprays, perfumes and colognes, etc.

CREAMS AND LOTIONS (0.2% - 3.0%)

Depilatories, sun care, self-tanning products, massage oils, etc.

FOOT CARE PRODUCTS (0.5% - 2.0%)

Powders, sprays, athletic shoes and inserts, etc.

HAIR CARE PRODUCTS (0.2% - 1.0%)

Relaxer products, perm deodorizers, depilatories, etc.

DEODORANT SOAPS, BODY WASH, SHOWER GELS (0.2% - 0.5%)

Products where a deodorizing action is desired, i.e. Specialty cooking odors deodorant soap.

INFANT CARE (0.25% - 1.00%)

Wipes and diapers, barrier creams, powders, bathing products, etc.

SENIOR AND INCONTINENT CARE (0.25% - 1.00%)

Wipes, adult undergarments, ointments, incontinent bathing products, feminine pad, etc.

MISC. PRODUCTS AND APPLICATIONS.

Sporting equipment gym bags, lockers, deodorizers, automotive detailing, fogging applications, sportsman scent elimination products, fishing odors, etc.

PET CARE PRODUCTS (0.5% - 4.0%)

Pet colognes, deodorizing shampoos and sprays, skunk-type odors, cat litter, bedding sprays, etc.
Note: Ordenone may be used in many applications for odor control. Because it is easy to use and can often be merely added to existing formulations we encourage you to experiment freely.
